Quick question---how to access the oil filter on this car?
Not so quick question---how difficult is a break job for this car? (I have done this before on domestic cars....disk and drum) Stupid question---why are there bolts AND clamps on the airbox? Any help would be appreciated --Stean |

The oil filter on 104.981 motor is locate at rear of engine at driver side you do need a special tool to remove it.
If you have experience how to replace brake pad you should able to do it. The bolts & clamps is hold the air filter top cover to the housing. |

Steanson, Go check out the "Do it yourself" section on the site. You will see a brake job for a 124 chasis E420/400E. It will be about the same job.
