I've been helping my friend look for a nice used SL. He found one that he liked, when we went to go see it, it was parked in a indoor showroom with a white tiled floor.
When he went to start it, and we were told it hadn't been started for atleast a week...when he started it, it shot out a streak of black carbon about 6 inches long from the rear exhaust. What would that mean? The owner said that it was "running a little rich" I wanted some opinions first. If he decides to pursue this car, we are going to take it to the Mercedes Tech that works on my W124.
