Flat towing an 83 300D

Is it possible to flat tow or dolly tow an 83 300D? Just bought one and need to go get it. About a two hour drive.

If it is a stick put it in neutral, if an automatic unhook the driveshaft.

I should be able to undo the rear flex joint and tie the shaft off to the side. We will see.

Figured I would ask someone more experienced than I.

Worked perfectly. Got it home. 140000 mile 83 300D. Nothing has been hacked. No smoke or blowby. Sun worn paint and a cloth interior. Even has cold AC. For $800.00

No such thing as a euro turbo sedan.

OP, great score!

What will it take to get it running? It only has about 300,000 miles left in the engine.

It runs and drives. Needs a water pump, brakes (just because) and tires. It has new ball joints and tie rods.
