How to pull the ignition switch on a 107 car?

Before I spend the money to put a new starter in I thought I'd experiment to see if my hot start was key or battery related. My 380sl starts and runs fine but wont' re-start when warm, but will start with a jump. I'm beginning to think the battery is the culprit but I thought I'd inspect the ignition switch connections if it's not too hard.

Thanks.
