W124 rear quarter window replacement
 

Hi, All

last night a foll attempted to remove the radio without my permission.

he (it ?) failed, but managed to break the rear quarter vent (driver side - Euro spec) window.

I managed to get all the pieces of glass out of the rubber, but did not remove the panelling to attempt to find out how to fit a replacement unit.

Can any of u offer advice in attempting to fit a replacement window ? The archives did not return anything useful on 'W124 rear quarter window'

Are there any issues with obtaining a window of similar tint (original spec window tinting) ?

I will probably get to source a replacement from a breaker or from the agent - but installation will be by yours truly - no matter what (famous last words - I anticipate some comments might be ... :)
