W211 seat swap, differences in WSS or passenger presence systems?

I have a 2006 E320 CDI that I recently found some nice replacement seats for. They came out of an earlier E500 with the dynamic seat option. They were not a direct swap at all. I had to re- pin all the connectors to the seat modules to get the power functions to work and now realized the passenger seat uses a difference weight sensing system. My original 06 seat used a 4 wire connector going to the yellow seat connector and has a module bolted to the seat frame with 4 sensors. The "new" E500 seat must use a pad type sensor in the cushion and has only 3 wires. I have tried everything with DAS developer I could think of. First trying to code different seat mat types and even unplugging it and selecting "no seat mat". I also preformed an initial startup of the SRS module with the mat both plugged in and unplugged. I get faults for open circuit even when "no mat" is selected. I am tempted to buy an emulator but would prefer it to function and not blow my dashboard apart if I have a collision with no passenger.

Does anyone have any experience with this or have had a similar issue swapping seats? I cannot find any test values for the seat sensors and I am not even sure if the wiring is compatible between the two.
