W210 fuel tank padding adhesive
I'm deep cleaning and fixing things on my 1997 E300 in prep for sale. Took trunk panels out and found fuel tank padding had lost adhesive and slid down. Anyone know proper adhesive to use to put this back in place?
(I'm hoping it will peel off nicely.)

This should work, right? Now, just to get it to peel off. First corner I tried, it didn't want to separate.

hah...i was about to suggest the 3M adhesive, too. Good suggestion. I've even
used it to repair rain parka fabric, many of which have glued vs stitched seams in recent years. The 3M stuff is very strong, flexible and water resistant
