m.b.doc other techs
i've just changed my oil/filter and after searching for priming m/o's i decided to just start the dang thang.i watched my oil press. guage all the while and it moved slowly to 1 and within 1/2 a second of reaching 1 it went all the way to 3.the whole process was no more than 2 seconds total and i can't think of much damage occurring but i was interested to know how you guys handle oil changes.fromthe time i changed the oil to startup was about 24 hrs.do you prime, would you prime if it was your own car(95 s500) and how would i go about doing that

Most techs at dealer disconnect the crank sensor & then crank the starter on the V-8 engines as they love timing chains.
