Auto door lock opener vaccum

1977 280se
The door lock buttons are moving sluggishly when key is turned in door.
1. How can I tell if I have a hose leak ...or.... whether the "air vaccum unit" is not putting out enough pressure?
2. Where can I find and test the air vaccum unit?
