2000 CL500 Gas/Fuel Gauge blocking Speedometer
 

Good Day everyone! I hope someone can help me solve this problem.
My 2000 CL500 fuel gauge has been acting erratically for a few months
now. At fill up, never registered more than 3/4 full. Fuel level never consistent, always fluctuated. Well yesterday on start-up I noticed that the display arm was
at approx. 4o'clock. When driving it blocked the speedometer from passing about 20mph. so I couldn't tell what my speed was.
Has this ever happened to anyone? Can it be repaired?
