M103 (1986 300E) IAC to intake manifold tube

Hello all.

Is there a clamp on either side of this tube? The EPC seems to to show there is, but my car that looks unmolested in this area has no clamps on either side.

Thank you!

If it's the tube that is narrow to the intake and it has double 45° bends, my '91 had clamps. The clamps were very difficult to R & R. I don't recall clamps at the two larger diameter IAC hoses

Good luck!!!

Yep, I'm talking about the IAC tubes. The one below the AFM into the IAC obviously never had clamps, but the tube from IAC to manifold looks like it could have a clamp on the manifold end. The nipple in that location has no barb either like the other locations. That's what made me wonder if maybe somebody had it off at one point and lost it. Thanks!

No clamp at the IAC side, at least not with mine, both M103 and M104. It's a tide fit, don't think a clamp is needed.

Thanks!

My '88 IAC lacked hose clamps. As there is no pressure on the IAC I would imagine just the push on friction and a tight location help keep everything together.
