560SL Front axle settings
 

Hello from Czech republic. I have an imported 1986 560SL in my workshop and after repairing front axle I want to set it properly. The problem is I have no values for setting it and in local MB dealership they also don´t. I hope as the car was build especially for US market, someone in US could have it. If anyone does please send it. Thank you.

Front Axle
Camber [1]
Wheels in straight ahead position .................... -0°10' (+10', -20')
Max difference between left and right .................... 0°20'

Caster [1]
Wheels in straight ahead position .................... 10°30' (+30', -30')
Max difference between left and right .................... 0°30'

Toe-In [1]
Wheels spread at front with 90-110 Nm .................... 0°20' (+10', -10')

Track Difference [2]
Angle at 20° lock of wheel nearest curve .................... -0°45' (+40', -40')

[1] Tolerances for test only. Try for nominal value during adjustment.
[2] Value indicated without toe-in.
