>> What is Biodiesel? Biodiesel is the name for a variety of ester-based oxygenated fuels made from hemp oil, other vegetable oils or animal fats. The concept of using vegetable oil as an engine fuel dates back to 1895 when Dr. Rudolf Diesel developed the first diesel engine to run on vegetable oil. Diesel demonstrated his engine at the World Exhibition in Paris in 1900 using peanut oil as fuel. << You should have a look on the Diesel thread, there are some biodiesel enthusiasts there. In my town Odawara, Japan you can buy biodiesel at one of the regular gas stations. I don't think it is hemp oil, more like reclaimed fryer oil. I wonder what the hemp oil smells like? LOL Gary |

Hemp oil odor?
I can only guess that it smells like: 'rope', 'weed' ,'pot', also known as giggle smoke. Imagine explaining to the police officer that my car reaks of grass because of the hemp oil in my fuel tank. Yeah right!
