The sound of the engine revving is unbelieveable!

Music to my ears.

Hey Donnie! I was admiring the CLK320 project (noting that the engine was the same as my ML320)...can you do that to my ML?

Yes, we have Kompressor kits for all current production and up and coming Mercedes engines. (to quote from Brandon).

By the way: The CLK will burn out like that on a 90 degree day on dry pavement.

The video link isn't working on my Netscape browser, so I grabbed it from the source code...

http://www.mbautowerks.com/performance/CLK55_KLEEMANN.avi

...tsk tsk...such good rubber being pasted on Donnie's nice new asphalt drive...

Up next maybe? The new ML55 eater...the Kleemann ML320?

How 'bout an SL500K? SLK 320K? ML55K (Okay, now we're gettin' real crazy)?

As the old adage goes, "Turbocharging is nice, but I'd rather be blown". Amen

The smoke is from the rear brake pads as the ASR computer fries itself...

Well, the car has an ESP off button. So it doesn't have the ASR to stop the slip.
When you turn off the ESP, you just lightly hold the brakes. That will clamp only the front wheels. Then, just stomp it. The Kleemann car will boil the tires 'till you run out of pavement.

No harm done. I have taken many of these through the paces with NO failures.

You can't burn up pirellis like that they turn to powder, so were you burning up some Michelin Pilot Sports....

What do your customers say about tire marks doing up your driveway?

What's the 1/4 mile time? Can it hook up? Does it have a locker?

Austin

Yes, Michelin Pilot Sports.
A couple of our customers have commented about the tire marks. The marks are still there.
It will do the 1/4 mile in the low 12's with the Michelins. I suspect high 11's with slicks but, we don't know yet.
Yes, it will hook up if you roll into the throttle instead of simply nailing it.
The car is a bone stock CLK55 that we have only added a KLEEMANN Kompressor to...no other changes.

Can you do low 12s if you ease into the throttle?

How much tread did the burn out burn off the tires?

Thats a pretty quick car.

Low 12's on street tires? With a little math, figure that CLK55 now has about 450hp, maybe a tad more.
