Mercedes Auxiliary Air valve repair
Hi can someone help with information on how to dismantle this type of Auxiliary Air valve for a Mercedes part number e BOSCH 0280140027.
I have seen many videos of how to dismantle Auxiliary air valves but none are the same as mine. I don’t really want to damage it because it’s quite expensive to replace. |

Consider using a Nissan electrically heated AAV as a substitute.
Otherwise, very carefully drill & tap two holes in the pressed-in closing ring, so that screws may be used to extract the ring. |

The most common application is for the 300ZX (early/mid '90s), although various versions have been used on ~2L. engines from 1984-on.
Some P/Ns: OEM / Interchange Numbers: 219416, 2266045P00, 22714, AC4410 22660xxxxx is the OE#. Similar valves have also been used by BMW, Porsche, Fiat, VW, Audi, Triumph, etc. |
