190e transmission issue (desperate)
 

Hello everyone, I have spent months on this issue with my 1992 190e transmission 2.6
I had a no upshift issue from 2nd and nothing seems to resolve this issue, I have disconnected/adjusted Bowden cable, disconnected and test vacuum modulator, pressure modulator on other side, cleaned both upper and lower valve body completely all with no change in the issue

I then swapped in my old 1988 valve body in, which regained 3rd! But no 4th, the form on top was slightly different.
I also ordered a new valve body with the same part number, installed, and had 0 gears of any form at all. The plastic gear selector holder is in the right place, maybe I did something else incorrect?

Please if anyone can provide any help or suggestions I would be extremely thankful.
