Is it a commen problem for the rear differential to leak?
Luckily for me I get under my car alot so I noticed this problem.
I took it to the dealer and had it fixed. Now its happening AGAIN!
I'm bringing the car back but was wondering what are the consequences of having a leaking differential. Reason I'm asking is I'm worried that something went bad in the differential due to low oil. This second time the differential is leaking pretty bad.

It depends on how badly the diff is leaking. If it was a common seep I would be OK with it, but any drops hanging from the diff is too much. Usually the dealers just swap the units out with a rebuilt one I am told from other friends in the buisness.
