Power drain problem has made me crazy. Went through everything fuse by fuse all grounds alternator...etc etc. read about the glow plug relay. It seemed really hot. When I pulled the small plug I could hear the relay clicking with eht engine running. How to test?

The small plug 4 wires #1 12v when ignition is on.#2 to your starter lock out switch.#3
to glow plug indicator lamp. #4 is ground.

Seems like the siring to the relay is in spec.
Do you know how to test the relay itself?

Clueless with an 82 300D

With the engine running the relay should not have any power going out to any of the glow plugs. It times out also after 20 seconds or so.
