Power drain problem has made me crazy. Went through everything fuse by fuse all grounds alternator...etc etc. read about the glow plug relay. It seemed really hot. When I pulled the small plug I could hear the relay clicking with eht engine running. How to test?

The small plug 4 wires #1 12v when ignition is on.#2 to your starter lock out switch.#3
to glow plug indicator lamp. #4 is ground. |

Seems like the siring to the relay is in spec. Do you know how to test the relay itself? Thanks!! ------------------ Clueless with an 82 300D |

With the engine running the relay should not have any power going out to any of the glow plugs. It times out also after 20 seconds or so.
