Question need help with AC 87 300E

AC stop working when i stop at trafic light, when turn car off wiat
few min. cranc it back up the AC works for few min. stops agin.
best working when weather is cool. i went to the mechanic , he changed the dryer ,the pressuer switch,the ac temp. switch that is
located on the side of dryer. evacuated the system recharge.boom the same thing happen. the fan is working the car
doesn't run hot every thing normal. please help it is hoooooot in texas yall.

Klima relay.............it might be desoldered. You also might check the wiring to the clutch, sometimes the wires more or less rot off. Outside shot, compressor RPM sensor stuck in the rear of the compressor. Fuse boxes will corrode and "carbon arc" the fuse, killing power but not having a blown fuse.


Next time it fails, see if you have power to the low pressure switch on the dryer. (same power source)

Check the tension scale on your belt tensioner. There is a speed sensor on the a/c compressor that kicks it off if it senses belt slippage.

Thumbs down Ac problem not solved

thanks joe& larrey, the relay , belt tenion and the wires evry
thing checked OK any other suggestions would be appreciated.

thanks guys

i took the car this time to pepboy, paid $39 they found the fan wire has short fixed it no extra charge. boom it working now
thanks for all your help. he said the the short cousing the fan to stop thus the sytem gets hot stops the copresser. hope this is it
