ciggy lighter
 

can someone point me in the right direction.none of the lighters work in my 89 300se.all the elements are original and have never been used.i pulled out the ash tray and i do have power to the leads for the lighter.there are also 2 lights 1 red the other clear.the red blub is lit at all times and is soldered in place.the clear bulb appears to be burnt out.my radio works fine,the orginal owner did add an after market cd changer.i can see one lighter not working but all 3?since we are on electrical,my glove box light only works when the key is powered up,should it light when the car is parked and not running?any info or similar experience s would be greatly appreciated.thanks ed
