Question 300e timing low? sluggish.

After reworking the head and installing new timing chain and tensioner, the engine seems to have lost it's response. As best I remember (16 months ago) it was pretty peppy even with a burned valve. I think the timing is low. Will moving the TDC sensor at the damper change that?

I believe that Larry Bible had the same problem when he got his 300E back together following head work. You might want to try a search for that.
