have a 94 c280 mbz - dead battery, jump started the car - srs warning light lit up. got a used battery but the light is still lit. went to a mechanic try to re-set does not respond. does anybody know how or were i could get it reset or fixed? need help please. thanks!

Sometimes the overvoltage relay can cause this, but more often than not I have found that after a dead battery and a jump, the control unit will have to be replaced.:-[
You need to have the codes pulled for the fault. IF they will not clear, the control unit is usually at fault. It has been updated so it won't happen again.
