w 140 turbo diesel climate control unit failure
 
hello ý've tried every troubleshoot for this malfunctioning unit but nothing solved yet. I reset the unit and start the engine and again it locks and did not work. Your advise will be greatly appreciated.

If it doesn't respond to the buttons it is probably the individual switches but the results are the same. Its probably time for a new controller (pushbutton controller).

They are available rebuilt for much less money.

I think Steve is right....I can tell you a new pushbutton climate control unit is about $1400.00 new

Check out www.thebenzbin.com. Rebuilt Climate control units at reasonable prices. I bought one for my W140 400SEL.
