Brake pad/rotors for 16v

I'm replacing the front pads and rotors on my 16v, and would like to know what I should get. I don't want to upgrade the calipers, dust isn't an issue, but any noise (i.e. squeeking) isn't acceptable. It would be nice if I could order them from this site, but not completely necessary. Thanks in advance for the help!

Go for OEM quality pads and rotors sold at fastlane at the top of the screen.

I personally like Ate rotors and textar pads.

Bekkers

I got a set of ATE slotted rotors and Mintex pads for $150 from www.bekkers.com I had to go to sears to have them break the caliper bolts loose but after that it was a 1 hour job. No squeaks or vibration and I have not noticed any difference in stopping power which is to say it will still stop on a dime.

Drumroll please....

I went with the ATE slotted power rotors from fastlane, along with the ATE pads. Phill seemed to think the power rotors wearn't needed except for hilly areas of the country (Western PA quallifies). I ordered two new sensors as well. Apparently using alot of the 'glue' between the pads and the backing is what helps prevent squeeking. so I'll make sure to do that. Somebody should give Phill a bonus...he's the most helpful auto guy i've ever met, and I've been around for a bit now.

I have ATE slotted. ATE pads.
Used parts store 'anti-squeal' paste, not the MB-prescribed grease.
Good stopping results, and no squealing so far (just 5k miles).

I've heard good things about those Mintex pads David mentioned, and may try them next time around.
