Quest for spark plug wires (1973) 450sl
I presently have 7mm silicone wires on the car my mechanic says I need better wires. I have tested the wires by looking at them at night with motor running. There are no sparks. What advice does any one have. Are there better wires and will they provide better performance/milage etc.

Go to this sites FASTLANE. Look up your model/year. They have plug wires for your car. I don't know if MB put silicone wires on 1973 cars. Mine are metal.

...had a 72 450SEL and a 72 280SE 4.5> replaced plug wires with OEM and it worked perfectly
...perhaps you may need an ignition coil? vs. wires good luck -fad |
