1984 500 SEC (SGS Custom convertible)

Can anyone tell me if the winscreen for the 1984 500SEC was the same for both European and US cars? Also, does anyone know if SGS (Styling Garage Stuttgart) left the original windscreen in place whilst customizing their 500 SEC?
