I have always been proud of being able to work on my car myself, however, I discovered I am only running on 3 cylinders, I checked the fuel injectors, the number #1 there is no difference in sound when I losen or tighten it up. I checked the injector line, it is clear, I was told, I may have a flat cam, please advice me. Besides, the person I bought this car from years ago, rebuilt the motor, I don't think he timed it correctly, please help, Thank you kindly for all advice

What kind of car and motor is it? Did this happen gradually or all of a sudden? It could be a worn cam lobe or a clogged fuel injector. Or it could be as simple as incorrect valve adjustment. take the valve cover off and take a look at the lobes that pertain to that cylinder. Also, check the valve clearance with a feller gauge to make it's within spec.

I agree with Steve, Start with the basics. If this doesn't work, have a tech perform a cylinder leak test.
