Loctite 5900
 

Having trouble finding this stuff, hoping to assemble by car this weekend. Checked autozone, pepboys, napa, only have permatex not loctite.

any advice on where I can find this stuff today? Probably can mail order but hoping to complete today.

the product is not generally available as a loctite product here in the states. the MB Part# is 002-989-73-20-10. it's also possible that it is repackaged as other auto maker's black "OEM" sealants. check out this thread:

You can get it at any industrial supply house. I picked mine up from Applied Indurtrial Technology. They have a website - do a search.

Thanks for the help, just ordered 002-989-73-20-10 from fastlane, should be here in a couple of days. Was hoping to assemble this weekend but I'll work the wife's car instead.
