specs-- and a question
couldn't find this in a search
617-951 turbo diesel what is the correct valve to guide clearance, Haynes says service limit is .0041... just got my head back from machine shop and I think the guy set my exhaust at .004. seems a tad sloppy. what do you all think also this did not have the heat shields between the injector and the pre chamber--- is it supposed to?? The spec is .003" to .0039". & the wear limit is .0078"(0.2mm).
The injector must have "seal" (heat shield) where it sits on the pre-chamber.

JB,
Take a look at the tread currently running about the heat shields on my W115 76 300D (search under my User ID: Kent300D)...I suspect we ran into the same problem. Good Luck, Robert |
