Too Much Fresh Air
The "doors" that regulate the amount of fresh air entering my a/c system are stuck open. It's an '88 260e and I've converted to 134. The system is trying to cool the air, but there's too much "hot Central Florida air" for it to cool.
How can I get to the doors and the servo that controls them? I've searched (and learned the servo to control the defrost door are behind the glove box -- I have to fix that one, too) the archives and can't find anything about the doors under the screen next to the windshield wiper. If someone could send me the info from the cd... I'd greatly appreciate. I've ordered one... but it hasn't arrived. Also, any estimates on what those two servos cost? Much thanks!! michael b michaelbrooks@prodigy.net |
