Struts - which to buy
I will soon be replacing the struts on a 124 and am wanting a soft ride. I do not plan on running in the upcoming Grand Prix in Denver and with the poor condition of the roads here, I want a strut that will smooth out the bumps.
I have read that the replacement comfort Bilsteins are 15% harder riding than the originals. Are Boge smoother? Sachs are too expensive for my budget. Have heard that KYB are harsher yet. Any thoughts appreciated - Ron |

The original Bilsteins are your best bet. The comfort shocks are a bit softer, and Boge shocks are the same as Sachs shocks (identical product). If you want the bumps completely smoothed out, you may want to pick up a Cadillac...
