looking to upgrade brake pads
 
I'AM A FIRST TIME MERCEDES OWNER AND AM LOOKING TO UPGRADE THE BRAKE PADS ON MY 2000 CLK320 AS THEY WILL NEED TO BE REPLACED SOON. I NEED TO BE POINTED IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION.

If you drive with a sporting style, then upgrading to "Metal Master" type pads will give you what you are looking for, there are several makers, PBR, Hawk, Axxis. You can also get high performance oem type pads for example Pagid makes the pads for Mercedes, they have different pad compounds available.
