300e Lifter noise
 

I narrowed down my engine noise to lifter/cam at the rear of the eingine. The ticking noise seams to fluctuate from soft to loud. I'm not sure if that helps in determining the cause.
My question is where do I go from here? Is the ticking usually cause by the lifter , cam or what, or can it be fixed with an adjustment?
Lastly, is there info on this subject on the CD manual? I just purchased them and have not been able to find it.
