bottom chain rail

Am getting ready to do timing chain on my euro 500 SE (with a Euro 420 engine) latest idea is to pull pulley and balancer plate (harmonic balancer) and do front seal and botton rail as well as new tensinior and top rails while I'm about it.

Larry B. I read your advise on reinstaling balancer that post should be required reading!how about a seperate section on this forum with selected post like that that can save a real nightmares?

On to my question,I bought a beautifull old OREGON rivit spinner can I remove balancer, front cover and cam sproket and then spin rivits on new chain and install it in one piece? also L.B. could one use removeable brass guide pins to install balancer brass should not gall?
In debt to this forum William Rogers....
