Mercedes' return to quality (article)
If this is the start of a fundamental shift back to good 'ole MB quality, it must mean they've been reading this board!

Well I am all glad for that. I completetly agree with the comments about the S-class cars. MB spent too much money on whiz-bang black box engineering, and not enough on solid engineering. I too hope the new E-class follows in the same footsteps as the CLK. Though I am not particularlly wild about the exterior, too common place, Japanese looking. Maybe it would be different seeing one up close. Does anybody remember when you could spot a Mercedes a mile away. Now the only Mercedes that stands out on the road is the SLs , as always, and the current E-class. Though, the Lexus GS cars can fool you coming down the road.
