W123 Interior experts? Color questions for those in the know.
 

I have a 1978 W123 with that odd Yellow / Brown "Bamboo" color interior. I cannot find floor OEM floor mats in this color anywhere for this model / year. Did this car originally come with these color mats, or, were they a different contrasting color ( like black ? ) Anyone with any ideas? Performance Products sells a non-oem mat set in this color, but I'd really like to stay as original as possible.

Your car is 23 years old, so keep in mind that the color of the mats that you buy, are the color of the carpet when your car was NEW.

At an age like this, it would be almost impossible to match the color exactly.
