seaping differential

I changed the gear oil in my differential a couple months back in my 300d and now i noticed that it is seaping around the bottom, it looks like it is just the rear seal and looks fairly simple to replace wihout having to take the differential apart it looks like all i have to do is remove the mount and bolts am i correct and if so is there a gasket for it or one of those make a gaskets please help

The rear cover on the diff has no gasket. Just clean both sealing surfaces real well and use a quality silicone sealer. I suggest using the "loctite 5900 sealer" sold by Mercedes.

Also, make sure you clean or replace the vent on top of the diff unit. If this is plugged up it will blow lube past the seal.
