The right rear door on my '87 560SEL won't stay open. It appears that whatever is supposed to catch the door and hold it open is broken or out of alignment. I reviewed the DIY on W124 door check straps and assume that this may be the type of repair I need to do here. Can anyone tell me if this is correct and what if any differences there may be in the procedure?
