W123 fender removal
How do i get the fenders off? I already took all the bolts out. The spot weld is under where the headlight is, and the bottom of the fender wraps all the way around to under the bumper. Please advise, Austin

With the hood raised there is a screw or two at the inboard edge of the fender. This holds in place the portion that goes underneath the headlight. Additionally there are two screws that hold the center panel that reaches from the bottom of each fender to connect them together. The very bottom center panel is almost always bent up. It is very inexpensive and should probably be replaced if you are doing any body or paint work in that area.
Good luck, |
