380SE transmission slipping on 2nd 3rd gear change
I Have a 1982 380SE 126 series which slips on upshift between 2nd & 3rd gear. Is this a band adjustment or worn clutches or dirt in the control valve assy ?
On the same vehicle where is the idle control box ? What causes the idle to periodically surge when the vehicle is hot ? Best regards, Gary Hogg |

It could be a modulator problem, I suggest searching for modulator subjects, there are excellent posts in the data base.

There is a updated K2 accumulator kit for that that is a decent bandaid. Keep the old one, you'll want it when you rebuild. Or you can cut straight to the core and overhaul it.
