400SE engine mounts

Can anyone tell me how hard it is to change the engine mounts on a 400SE?
Thanks in advance,
Bob

Come on guys,
Hasn't anyone replaced them yet? I'd check the 140 CD but I don't think I can wait for it to be released.
Thanks,
Bob

It takes about an hour to replace the mounts after youve done a few sets of them. This is with the car on a lift. The top bolts can be rather difficult to access and its necessary to raise the engine a good bit to get the mounts out. Its helps to remove the left side exhaust down pipe to get the left mount out.

So, it’s similar to replacing them on a 4000E (as described on a previous post) with slightly more room? Thanks for the help RPM55
