1982 380 trans modulator adjust
 
Please can some tell where the modulator on a 380 trans is located and what is required to adjust it - does it need special tools ?

drivers side of tranny, in front of the linkage, behind the cooler line.


just take a small pocket skrewdriver and pop off the rubber cap, slightly raise the metal insert. clockwise to firm ALL foward shifts, counterclockwise to soften.
