where is the fusebox?

It is located under the hood on the drivers side. You will see two thumbscrews that undo the cover. The 240D is a great car-you will enjoy it!! Charles

I also own an 83 240D with a stick. Contrary to what Lee might lead you to believe, this is the best MB ever! 500E is a close second...

They are good, but just dangerously slow in todays traffic.
But, if you mean for reliablity then it will be a close call between it and the 300E.
