pepboys didn't have the b size so ended up at the dealer at $16.50. it will pay for itself on the first change.........

I got the MB oil wrench tool and all worked out well.

During this process I was also deciding on changing the oil over to synthetic. After reading all the pros & cons decided that the type of driving and low miles per year switching over didn't seem worth it.

I did change the oil to 10-40W and did notice a difference.
For a while, and I reported this on the board, that I was getting a ticking/ tapping noise when I first started the car for the day. (Cars garage kept and driven less than 5K/yr) Now after switching over to 10-40 from 10-30 the tapping noise is gone. Oil is changed every 3K.

One suggestion I got was possibly a dirty or faulty fuel injector or a streched drive chain.

Any thoughts or comments here???????
