quick question for a friend about W202 hood/grille
 

My friend is getting a new W202 hood for his 1994 C220. He doesn't know what model year the hood came from. Is the W202 grille assembly (chrome frame and plastic screen/inserts) a universal fit for all W202 model year? I did some searches and think that a 2000 grille assembly will fit perfectly in a 1994 C-class and so on. Can someone confirm my opinion. Thanks.
