90 300SEL
First drive of the day, (summer or winter) transmission takes a long time to shift out of its first gear. After it does shift, it shifts normally for the rest of the day. |

M.B. designed it that way!! It's for quicker cat/converter warm-up. Most cars after 1994 will turn on check engine if it doesn't delay the shift.
