vacuum lines diagram 420 sel
 

I looked through my mb cd but cannot find where and how many vacuum lines there are. I would like replace them (rough idle), if anyone can help I would be truely thankful:confused:

I would also like this info.

You did not mention what year your car is. I looked in my cd manual for the diagrams for a 1986 420SEL, start with main function group 14 intake manifold,exhaust manifold, In the sub function group go to section 475 checking exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) page 4 has a descent overall view, also sub function group 478 checking air injection page 1 gives a view limited to air injection, both will help in giving an idea of what to replace.

RSH, thank you for pointing me in the right direction. I followed your direction and found it, you are right it is a step in the right direction though I wish it was a little more straight foward.
