1988 300CE won't start
 

Help!
Before the car stopped starting, when you drove it you had to keep your foot on the gas at all times or it would stall.(mostly at red lights) once it stalled it would start back up if you let it sit for a minute. Or you could keep cranking it and eventually it would start. We got it into our garage and now it won't start. The battery is good, makes noise when you turn the key, it just won't turn over.
Any ideas what might be cuasing it not to start?
