Some idiot hit my car

I need some help before R&R the rear bumper on our 300SE. A couple of morons pulled into the drivers side of the bumper breaking the side bracket. I think I may be able to repair the cover (buff out or paint) as it isn't cracked just scuffed. My question is, can the bracket be replaced or is the cover now junk?
Thanks in advance.
Steve

If you have insurance coverage you may claim for damages under comprehensive with 100 or zero dollar deductable. If you have 500 deductable then you are out luck.

The clowns that hit us were uninsured and our insurance is covering the repair with no deductable. I'm trying to figure out whether the bumper can be repaired or have to be replaced. The metal mount on the side of the bumper is broken, I'm afraid this is molded into the cover rather than replaceable.
Thanks for the input tho.
Steve
